Honestly had a great experience here. The food was way really good - everything came out hot, seasoned right, and cooked really well. And Elena was amazing. Customer service was great, and she just made us feel really warm and taken care of the whole time. We don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to because she’s honestly one of the reasons we’re gonna come back.

My family and I had a lovely time at The Slough house restaurant. The service and food was amazing. Our server Daisha was very sweet and attentive. This was all of our first time eating here and we will definitely be back. The bread was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was as cozy and charming. Also, the crème brûlée was delicious! I wish I had a better photo but we inhaled everything lol

A delightful place to stop and enjoy a early afternoon lunch on the patio. The Schnitzel was perfectly cooked and seasoned as was the chicken parmigiana! We will definitely sto at the Slough House Kitchen when we are passing through!

We went to Slough House for my birthday and had such a lovely experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s a nicer restaurant, yet still very kid-friendly, which we truly appreciated. They have a children’s menu and made us feel completely comfortable bringing our kids along. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great (especially from our server Elena), and we enjoyed every moment. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Our favourite place in Sacramento. The food was excellent! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Plates and glasses were super clean and shiny. Service was great! Waitress Elena was really beautiful and nice, she did an excellent job! Owners of the place Alisa and Slav were very kind. Thank you for your job!

I love this place! The atmosphere is something special, feels like an old-school restaurant where everything is just right. The tables are set perfectly, the wine shelves in the background add a nice touch, and the music is on point. The onion soup was incredible, easily one of the best I’ve had. Rich, flavorful, and just what I was craving. On top of that, the service was great—super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, good vibes, and a classic feel, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

We've been wanting to try The Sloughhouse Kitchen for awhile now. We stopped in for a late lunch today and we're sorry we waited so long. The restaurant is in a historic building that was once a hotel and stagecoach stop. The inside is charming and spacious. There is a beautiful deck for outdoor dining. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered off the brunch/lunch menu and decided on the Italian sausage panini and the smoked salmon panini. The Italian sausage and smoked salmon are made in house. Both came with a green salad, breakfast potatoes, and an egg cooked to order. The pininis were both delicious, as were the potatoes. The salad was simple but fresh. My fried egg was cooked to perfection. What a delightful surprise that this gem of a restaurant is so near to Rancho Murieta! It's definitely worth the trip from anywhere in the Sacramento area. We will definitely be back, can't wait to try dinner with one of their signature cocktails.

10/10 No notes. This place is a total gem. Food is next level fantastic but affordably priced. Get the squash soup & bruschetta thingy and thank me later
